This animation illustrates the evolution of the art of cross stitch from its ancient origins to its modern resurgence in the digital age.

This visual journey begins in an ancient world, where a girl performs traditional cross stitch. However, over time the work begins to deteriorate, threatened with being lost forever. It is at that point that technology intervenes, rescuing the design and revitalising it in a digital environment.

The evolution of cross stitch continues into modernity, showing the diversity of styles and techniques that different hands recreate thanks to the accessibility that the digital era offers us. "The Thread of Times" not only tells the story of an art that endures, but also how embroidery intertwines our personal and cultural stories, uniting past and future in each stitch.
